Description

May not be Calgary but i think they will try to move Holl and keep Dermott. Also Engvall might stay as he can fill in at center on the bottom lines along with Kerfoot if they plan on load management with Spezza and Thornton. I also think Barabanov can play higher up in the lineup

I wouldn't be so quick to do this. We know Muzz-Holl works, this gives us a solid top 4 (something we've never had). Lehtonen looks great in the K, but when was the last top-4 D to come over from the K? Not saying he won't I'm just saying I wouldn't make that bet. Dermott hasn't played much of the right side or the top-4, so starting him on the 3rd pair off side to ease him into it seems best.

You can run a 20 man roster (something Dubas spoke about) if Soup and Dermotts contracts cause a 21 man roster to be over the cap. once they accrue enough cap space they can expand the roster

Injuries happen, its nice to have a legit top 4 plus guys who have that potential or are close to being a top 4 guy (Dermott Lehtonon, Bogo who has done it but will need to be carried on a 2nd pair).

IMO Keep Holl and enjoy the depth, it could be useful

Flames pass, we don't have the cap space. It doesn't matter how many times Leafs fans try sending us Holl, we do not have the cap space
