Yeah don't see Palat having any interest in the Hawks, With that Goaltending and D that team is absolutely going nowhere.

Tampa Bay does need to move a contract or two out, perhaps Palat could be talked into waiving his NTC. TB is lucky no one has given an offer sheet to either Cirelli, Sergachev or Cernak. With only 2.8M in cap space and all three RFA's, they're very vulnerable to losing one or two of them to an offer sheet.
If Nate Schmidt was a 3rd, I think Palat and Johnson could be had for not much in return as well. Is Barratt and a 3rd enough? Maybe.

TB needs to move a contract, no-one wanted Johnson, so I assume Palat or Gourde is now being shopped. I can't see either of those guys getting a lot with the contract they have. Saad and Schmidt didn't get a lot because there contracts are high during this flat cap era.
