We wouldn’t have drafted barzal if we didn’t trade that pick. I think the scouts had Joseph in cross hairs no matter what that puck was being used on a d at that time it made no sense to go in any other direction.

Puljujarvi was always going before Tkachuk in the draft. He was expected to go 3rd to Columbus and EDM would get Tkachuk at #4. Poolparty may never turn out as good as Chucky at this point but gis potential is still high
