Why would Ottawa ever accept that. They're rebuilding. Colorado may take a run at Kane if they can't resign Landy, but not for Toews and not for what you're asking for, too steep.

Yeah, I may have been too concerned with undervaluing Kane & Toews. I'll adjust.

If Chicago retains some salary on Kane (would have to to make it work) I'm all over that if I'm Colorado, but now you went to far the other way lol. Byram and two 2nd's or one 1st IMO

Can't see the Jackets going for that. Our prospect pool is dried up and Foudy might be our best

Foudy is a great prospect but Jarmo wants to win now and Kane fills the biggest hole on the roster and then some (play-driving, goal-scoring, offense-creating winger) -- I think that specific trade is workable for Columbus, but the cap becomes a big question and they'd absolutely have to send something back to offset (Jenner and Nash?)

Edit: WHOOPS, I misread that as Kane going to CBJ. Yeah no thanks on Toews unless CHI is going to heavily retain. Would do that trade for Kane, haha.

Haha yeah for Kane would definitely consider if we can get the cap to work.
