I guess they don't need him. But his contract is reasonable, and he greatly helps out in the secondary scoring front. Also he could really improve, he hasn't really got a good chance to show himself. They do NEED him, however, if Robertson isn't top 6 or Thorton 3c. Vesey/Simmonds aren't top 6.
