Ya, if Dubas is trading Kerfoot, it won't be for the nothing the majority of leafs ACGM's have it as. Like it or not, he'll get more than a 4th or will stay.

the leafs can literally keep kerfoot and run a 21 man roster, assuming dermott gets under $1.3M which is very likely.

He has absolutely zero leverage - he's a bottom pair guy to this point, there's like 4 other guys than can play in his place and he doesn't have arb rights.

Haha, yes, at this point I'm thing Engvall is on his way out. Leafs might get a 5th for him. But Kerfoot is here too say, I'm willing to bet Dermott costs less than 1 mil.

Vegas put themselves in to desperation mode and had to take a low offer to help their cap situation. Leafs have another option that would save almost 1 million off the cap... sending Robertson back to junior (or potentially Marlies) would alleviate the cap crunch and help them keep Kerfoot. Leafs are not quite in the same position as the knights
