I'm not opposed to the trade with Edmonton, it would certainly position themnveryvwell for the Seatyle expansion draft. I think the details would need to be different though. The Oilers are right up against the salary cap, with around $750,000 remaining and Bear and Lagesson both yet to sign qualifying offers. Drop the draft pick and add a player like Jujhar Khaira and it might work.
