Stammer already said he wouldn’t waive his NTC for vegas, why would he for Det? He’s also to old for Det, his contract would become a liability by the time they reach contender status

I agree, (I'm not a TB fan), just looking to see how they could address their cap problems.

Zero to no chance of Tampa getting 2 2nds and a 3rd for Stamkos, With his health and age he's not worth that much. Especially to a rebuilding club like Detroit.

I laugh at these Red Wing fans who think they are relevant .. deal above for Stamkos is steal.for Detroit .. unless any leadership comes to Detroit .. all those picks a waste ...

I don’t agree about Stammer’s value from the poster you’re commenting on but to dismiss a poster because their team sucks is pretty flawed. A team’s success doesn’t mean that their fan base is anymore knowledgeable or correct than another. I think those premier picks (Zadina/Seider/Raymond) have been leaders on their respective teams thus far and are building the core of their team so I wouldn’t say they’re a “waste”. I also wouldn’t turn down that offer for Stamkos as he could easily be flipped for more.

What exactly do you disagree with? That Stammer said no to Vegas or that Det prob won’t be a contender for 3/4 years at best and by then Stammer will be 35 and prob declining in production? I will concede that I thought he had more than 4 years left so I’ll give you that..
