The difference between Meier and Strome isn't Nylander and Murphy.

Idk. Thats a very enticing offer. Meier is locked in at a good price and hes still an RFA afterwards. Hes only 24. Love his playstyle

ummm that leafs deal is a hard no. any deal involving nylander to the sharks starts with either meier or hertl and a 1st. otherwise i'll pass.

I kinda like that deal for the hawks but it's not realistic at all, and probably an overpay by the hawks slightly

I agree that he's valuable and a great player. I just don't think he's worth Nylander, Strome, and Murphy. Also, he's making 6M now, how much is he going to make on his next contract?

can't imagine Rangers bite. Lindgren is currently their only capable LD.

Would love Timo and would love to ditch Nylander. Strome and Murphy though are worth more though. Nylander *still could* turn out to be a nice piece in the NHL. Something has to also be coming back the other way for this deal.

No from the leafs. They'd take it if it's an unprotected first... (instead of a second)...

Well I mean yeah, but hes worth it for sure. Saying hes going to make more on his next contract just kind of proves it that hes gonna be a really good player. If anything, the collective value of Strome, Murphy, and Nylander's next contracts are probably going to add up to Meier's. Adding a guy like Meier does wonders for our "rebuild". Only 24, going to keep getting better, would be one of the on ice leaders of this team out of the young guys. With our team, Strome is never going to be more than a 3c. Nylander probably doesnt break out of the middle 6. Murphy probably isnt a top pairing guy for us after this coming year. To trade that for what would be a true top line winger on our team is a no brainer

I mean, like I said, I don't see the difference between Meier and Strome and Strome plays the better position and costs like half the money.

Not a chance that the Flames decide to trade with a division rival only to get more expensive, older, and worse.

These are all over the place:

SJ definitely declines that NYR one
CGY definitely declines that one.
VGK 100% declines that one.
SJ declines that CHI one.
TOR declines that one.

Chicago and Rangers trades are really really off for the Sharks. None of the players in there are particularly intriguing especially in the CHI trade where we're giving up a great player who holds more value than any one of the players coming back. Plus Hertl+Simek is worth way more that what's being offered.

Flames, Blackhawks, Golden Knights and Leafs all say no and never take a call from Wilson again.
