A tweet from Bryan Bastin this morning suggests Tomasino is in NSH's plans for next season. Where does he fit in, and does this mean Tolvanen will be starting the season in Milwaukee again?

and the article https://www.nhl.com/predators/news/preds-players-select-new-numbers-for-2021-season/c-319491008

It's definitely interesting. If this is anything to go by, then Pitlick will be in MIL this upcoming season (likely one of the first call-ups).

I think Arvy - Johansen are important to keep together; they always seem to be better together than apart (but I haven't actually looked into the stats on that). This definitely gives management a lot of options to play around with the roster and might mean that they are staying pat -- not going after another top 6 FA like Hoffman. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this if they decide to break up JoFA:

Forsberg - Duchene - Tomasino
Tolvanen - Johansen - Arvidsson
Grimaldi/Trenin - Sissons - Kunin
Jarnkrok - Cousins - Grimaldi/Trenin
Richardson

If they're going to have both Tolvanen and Tomasino on the team, I think I really like those lines.

I really like these lines as well. Very much agree that you gotta keep Joey and Arvy together. I also sometimes wonder if the only thing holding Forsberg back from having 30+ goals a year is being on a line with Joey+Arvy since Arvy has such a shoot first mentality. Seems like he and Duchene have great chemistry.

I could honestly see Tomasino and Tolvanen switching between those top 2 as well. Since Arvy and Tolvanen are both volume shooters, it may help to keep them apart.

Of course, there have also been mentions of Kunin getting top 6 time as well. I think he rotates up there with whoever Hynes thinks isn't earning that time.
