You I don't mind any of the moves in isolation but you traded all th OS players to gain about 9 Mil cap space and didn't upgrade the 1 LD. You could have Signed Dunn to a 4.5 Mill offersheet and moved Taffoli to 2 LW brought in Yelonen for 4 RW and signed Duclair at 2.5 Mil x 2 years. Then the lineup would be much better.

If the Sens take on those four players, we’d be sending our 1st to OTT for them to do it. Only the Weal & Tatar contracts expire next season, Kulak has 2 more years, Byron 3. You’d have to give them candy the same way WIN gave MTL Armia to take on Mason.

You’re also overpaying for both Duclair & Hoffman. Too much term for Hoffman, too much money and term for Duke.

Hoff: 2x5.5M
Duke: 2x2.5M

But I love the lineup though

It’s a very nice lineup but you have left no room for Caufield to join next season. If Hoffman would do another 4 year deal I would love to have him but adding him and Duclair is a bit much.

I am unsure what Berge’s plans are for Tatar, I’m wondering if he has made any extension offers to him, I think if he’s not up for a 3-4 year deal I’d consider moving him as his value should be decent right now and I see us contending for a playoff spot so he likely won’t be moved at the deadline.
