The rangers trade can’t happen... do you not look at cap space before making these?

Too bad you can only retain salary on 3 contracts at a time.

Also. No one is giving you a first for Connor Murphy

So the contending Bruins trade a roster player to a rebuilding hawks team?

No to the Sabres deal. You are basically trading Kane for Reinhart, 1st, and 2nd

So we would have buch, kreids, kakko, bread, Laffy, Gaut, Lemieux, Strome, Nylander. We now have to scratch one of these guys, no room for Kravs to come up.. our wings are already flooded. Nylander on the 4th/scratched is bad. We need LD and that’s what you pull from us. Wouldn’t ever work even if the cap was fine

I’m just knocking some sense into some hawks fans that think their declining former superstars and Connor Murphy are worth the world.

Lol... declining superstars. That's a very aggressive approach to describing a 100+ point superstar.

Did you mean to say Tavares?

Lmbo.

No. Toews and Kane will be riding the pine pony by the time their contracts are up. But I could be wrong.

Also with the flat cap not many teams can take on 10.5 mil just like that.

How did we go from you being obsessed with Murphy to you now be fascinated by Kane's aging curve.

If you understand anything about aging curves, you'd realize that comparing Kane to the average NHL player's aging curve makes no sense considering he's not the average NHL player. So compare him to the aging curves of superstars like himself. Like St Louis who was putting up better numbers at age 38 than Tavares has ever put up.

I’m not saying Kane is a bad player, I’m just saying that not many teams want to take the risk of 10.5 mil for three years when he is decloning. Not saying he will fall off a cliff. He still could be very good when his contract is up.

Also, Tavares is good and IF his contract is bad in a few years , the cap will be up and the leafs should be able to afford it...

Did you ignore every Hawks comments where they said they'd be willing to retain? Also, declining? In what way is he declining?

I love how when it comes to Tavares, even though he is not even close to the caliber player that Kane has been throughout his career and even today, Father Time never arrives.

But when the Leafs fans want to **** on Kane, it's around the corner. Even though Kane has been more productive then anyone on the Leafs roster in recent history and also showing no signs of slowing down.

We know Tavares is coming up on it, but we’re also not trying to trade him, and we know that when Father Time rears it’s ugly head the cap will have risen

You've been on this website for one year. I've been on for a month and I've been in isolated quarantine in a hotel for 2 weeks.

We aren't trying to trade Toews or Kane either.

Our management has said that we aren't trading Toews and Kane.

Doesn't stop these non Chicago fans from spamming the forum

I never said it won't come for JT. JT's contract would be pretty much impossible to trade right now given the flat cap, thing is we are not trying to trade him. If the Blackhawks are trying to trade Kane it will be extremely hard given the cap.
