I never said it won't come for JT. JT's contract would be pretty much impossible to trade right now given the flat cap, thing is we are not trying to trade him. If the Blackhawks are trying to trade Kane it will be extremely hard given the cap.

We aren't trying to trade Kane or Toews

So the contending Bruins trade a roster player to a rebuilding hawks team?

lots of bruins fans want kase out/replaced after an underwhelming year. hawks buy low on a young talent

*Hawks are willing to retain salary if we trade Kane*

Important point that every true Hawks fan has made clear on this site that seems to be ignored.

I’m just knocking some sense into some hawks fans that think their declining former superstars and Connor Murphy are worth the world.

every leafs agm had murphy to toronto for a 1st at the deadline and reilly/murph would be a top 10 pair in the league. but ok. Also these packages are hypothetically on point for kane/toews given the cap dumps coming back. toews just had a career season so tough to make the argument either will fall off significantly in the next 3 years. especially toews centering patches and stone in vegas...woof.

I think they would only include him in a deal that makes the bruins a better team in the now. Personally, i think they should hold on to him, but if you are gonna trade him it should be to improve the roster. No sense in getting back a prospect and a pick.
