Staal and Backers are bad value but not bad contracts you can’t say a 1 year is a bad contract, if they suck they are gone next year if they play good great they are still gone next year. Bad contracts have cost and term like Vlasic for San Jose.... or Jones for San Jose ... or Karlsson for San Jose..... or couture for errrr San Jose.... man I feel like Wilson is the Oprah of overprice contract in the NHL “you get a bloated contract, and you get a bloated contract, everyone in Here gets a bloated contract!!!!”

Back to my point this is a lame post as you have 2 of the weakest “bad contracts” in your lineup
