Laine starts with Boqvist or Dach.

Both players you have going to Toronto aren't worth the 1st alone, Toronto's definitely not adding in the 2 better d-man.

Laine doesn't start with either of those players - this trade solves the 2 C and top 4 Dman needed and also makes them contenders - Laine is gone so gone from Winnipeg and everyone knows it

No chance wpg does this trade, best days behind these guys, not sure if they got enough in the tank to hit a wpg window,

Less than zero chance Winnipeg considers it.

Murphy>Dermott and Holl but I otherwise agree with your sentiment regarding the Toronto trade in that I probably wouldn't do it

Lol. That's the dumbest statement I've heard. You've shrunk Winnipeg's window to win to about 3 years by adding those players. Keith is not a top 4 d-man anymore, sorry to burst your bubble. Toews is highly overpaid to be a 2C. & you're asking them to give you one of the league's premier snipers that's only 22. I'm sorry but that offer absolutely starts with either Boqvist or Dach. If Chicago didn't wanna do it, Winnipeg easily moves to another team.

Then move on - Laine is overrated, soon to be overpaid and is absolutely a OS candidate

& how often do offersheets happen? Keep dreaming if you ever thought this package came close. It doesn't get you Laine alone

Yeah but the thing is that we don't want Laine or need him so it's not what we are willing to pay, regardless of value.

We have Kubalik and Debrincat as our goal scorers and I don't think Laine is a big enough upgrade to justify this trade.
