That seems like quite a bit for Sergachev maybe idk. Just considering the cap constraints Tampa is up against. wouldn't think they'd be able to get full market value in any trade.

Think you're a little high on Bert's Salary.

I don't hate the Serg trade..... I think protecting the 1st rounder from being a lottery pick is key.

The problem is tampa need to lose cap so if they actually trade serg or cirelli you are going to have to take some cap along with it.

I'd do this trade in a heartbeat but not sure it's sweet enough for TB....maybe top 5 protected instead?

Pass from Detroit, it doesn’t make sense to give up a top 5 pick next year on top of McIsaac who could be a second pairing gritty defender. If he wants to come to Detroit that first round pick is off the table especially when you can threaten a second round OS offer.

Whoa Whoa Whoa!! If it's lottery protected for this year and we get top 10 (strong possibility even with Serg) then that means they get our 2022 pick! Screw that! That draft is so strong and I really want Shane Wright. Maybe change it to a lottery protected 2022 1st and I could somewhat accept this, but probably still too much for Serg since Tampa is in a bit of a hole right now.
