It's seems like a lot for Sergachev, but in the end, that's probably the only amount yer gonna be able to offer sheet him.Otherwise, great proposal.

See my comment above. There is nothing for Winnipeg to decline as this proposal is on behalf of Winnipeg

Winnipeg isn’t making offers to teams for laine. They are not shopping him. They are listening to offers which includes counter offers of course. The jets would never make this proposal. They have perfetti as 1Bc long term so they don’t need danault. Caufield is nice but he wouldn’t last in the jets’ system imo. And Mysak might become a top 6 guy, MIGHT. Then you add a first like it’s going to make things better?

This is a classic example of quantity over quality. The jets likely want a top pairing rd back for laine or at least someone who can grow into that role. Even then, they probably look to move someone else first as there is no indication that laine wants out and he loves Winnipeg (lol yeah I’m surprised too). Anything that isn’t exactly what the jets want, the jets decline

Again this trade came from a Leafs fan, not a Habs fan. That was only my point. They were representing the Jets which means the Jets in this ACGM were the instigators. Therefore the Jets don't get to decline LOL. The Habs won't accept anyway and your right in RL this isnt proposed but in this ACGM the Habs are the ones declining.

Sign Laine to 8/8 take some more money back, (Drouin/Kulack,Byron) and I'd do it. It would hurt losing Caufield but it's suppose to hurt.

You said to @Windjammer (who is a jets fan):

As I said before, there’s no way Winnipeg would make this offer, so it’s a moot point to even argue the point that “the jets have nothing to decline”. That’s not how it works lol

I could make a million trades form one teams side, doesn’t mean that team will even consider offering that.

If you are trying to see if montreal fans would be willing to give up this for laine, then just say that. And make the post from the montreal side lol
