I almost didn't post this ACGM just because I knew it would get lost in all the other crappy Chicago ACGM's the past few days

Top 4 Shutdown RHD don't grow in trees. He'll log 20 mins a game easy and be on your #1 PP. He's better than Tanev who the nucks just lost. Also has 2 years left on a bargain contract

That's a matter of opinion. It's not often a player is a 'top 4 shutdown' defenceman AND on the #1 PP. That's impressive. Also Canucks have this guy Quinn Hughes on PP1. Not sure if Murphy is quite his level.

Regardless, Canucks can't take his cap and the ONLY way they give up a 1st is if it rids them of Eriksson's contract

lol I figured. Still doubt you could swing a 1st in that trade. Easiest change would probably be swapping Baertschi for Beagle or Roussel - less cap hit but longer term. Makes more sense for Canucks as Bae's contract will be up by the time Hughes/Petey need resigned

Hawks would probably do one of those guys + a 1st for Murphy
