Maybe, but that's a pretty huge "if." I really like the additions of Johnsson, Murray and Crawford, but I still think they're a little short on D and the bottom 6 is a little lacking. I say they just miss this coming season, but in 2022 they'll be right up there imo

Unrealistic, but I'd like this team more if it was Bonino (half retained) instead of Hartman from MN. Play Bonino at the 2C, move Hughes to a wing spot.

If PK wins the Norris and Hughes/Hischier both put up 80+ points then they might be in the wild card conversation lol

I feel like if these things happen we could get into a wildcard

Hughes has a huge year with 50+ points
Nico gets career high 60 points
PK bounces back
Blackwood and Crawford amazing duo and blackwood is a top 10 goalie

But realistically I see the Devils being 6 seed...metro is too stacked rn
