Would love to hear why the Rangers don’t block your number after this proposal?

Strome is a 60 point center. Zuccarello is a long-term cap anchor in a flat cap environment.
NYR1983 and aedoran liked this.

Stalock would bring more back

No one (especially a team like NYR) would be even remotely interested in Zuccarello's contract unless they were getting PAID to take it in

Moving Mojo only makes sense as a deadline deal

Rask has negative value

I don't think that's enough for Laine and Minnesota shouldn't even be going after him anyways

Nobody (including MN) wants the bad cap/term of Zucc and Rask.

I don't think MarJo is high on any other team's list to acquire right now with his cap hit and all the UFAs still available.

Both teams say no to the Jets trade. It doesn't make sense for MN to get another wing, and if the Jets trade Laine it'll be for immediate help not futures.

Terrible for Detroit, you'd have to pay them to take Rask regardless of what you think his value is

How can a player who has never scored 60 point is a season be a 60 point center? I do agree that this isn't enough for Strome but calling him a 60 point player is kind of putting the cart in front of the horse don't you think? coming in to the 2019-20 season he was averaging 32 points a season.

Teams usually value their players have their most recent season. Well at least most players that have been sold off.

It'll be interesting to see just how much of the contract year players get sold off at the deadline. Someone will want Mojo for the playoffs if he isn't dying on his feet. same with Bonino and Bjustad. after all that Rask gets bought out next offseason adn the wild is drastically fresh and young. Sooooo I need a Victor Rask Jersey while they still exist.
