This guy actually thinks the Leafs are going to win a cup! What are you drinking man lol. I love the optimism but I'm afraid that it might be another 3-5 years before the leafs make it happen. I never realized that its been 50 years now since the leafs won a cup. Jeez now I see why everyone is making a big deal and wanting answers on the team and wanting them to win so badly.

I'm a Penguins fan and even tho we've had a back 2 back, I shouldn't be laughing with what JR did to us this year. shakes head

I don't have a whole lot of faith in Washington, New York Islanders, and Boston. Washington looked pretty damn bad in the playoffs and Boston now has a weaker defense. Even Philly, they had good goaltending, but where was the offence in the playoffs? Yeah JR has made some **** moves this year and the Core is getting older, but I think they'll still find a way to make the playoffs. I think it'll be a tight race in the East Coast of America Division. I know the Leafs are known for choking and we all love to laugh at that, but I think this is the year they somehow get it done.

I like the prediction and if the leafs get their act together and everyone steps up I can see it happening.

Leafs are basically washington 2.0. They had playoff trouble beat the penguins and went right to the finals and won. Everyone agrees that if the leafs pass r1 its pretty much right to the finals unless some serious injuries occur.
