Arbitration usually gives out ridiculous awards.. i mean ERod got $2 million.. there is a possibility the arbitrator will take the flat cap and other things into consideration. Hopefully making these awards more reasonable.

    Prices sure seem to have gone up quite a bit though

    Why would they? He's only getting $2.75M. Marc Staal cost a 2nd for $5.7M. Stop questioning everything because I'm not a part of the organization and use your head.

    Stop speaking like you KNOW what the organization will or won’t do then

    And trying to correlate what it cost for one player vs what it would cost for another player based ONLY on their salary is beyond foolish
    There’s other factor’s that matter

    I was looking up old arbitration awards, the only recent one that was over 7 was shea webber. It seems like the lower and middle tier guys do real well in arbitration, the higher lever (but not superstar) players dont seem to get the crazy high awards. And i think obviously the great ones get locked up with term. So, just from the sample group i saw, i bet reinhart gets 6.
