All they need is an upgrade in net and I agree with you.

Getting there but still 3.to 4 players away...goalie, 3rd/4th line and solid D veteran .. maybe 2022 .. Tampa would destroy you as of now due to depth and net

Grubauer/Francouz both have a higher career sv% than Vasilevskiy (low sample size for Pavel) and if Andrei got hurt then McElhinney is solid at very best

That goalie duo is one of few in modern history where both goalies are/project at over 5 sv% points above league average (Thomas/Rask, Schneider/Luongo, etc.)

...but yeah go off 🙄

Not saying they're quite there but *very* positive

Francouz was at an insane .950 in his last two KHL seasons before he arrived and has a cumulative NHLe over the past 5 seasons of about .920 so... yeah 🌠

At very worst it's Kuemper/Raanta|Bishop/Khudobin

You're welcome to respond to that with anything remotely coherent at any point... I'm just saying their stats are better and yeah McElhinney is an issue

Do you have a counter argument or just posturing?

At very worst Grub/Fran is a bit worse than Vasi/McE

Plus, I think this team could win the cup with just average goaltending. It’s not like they have Martin Jones or Jimmy Howard in net.

The Islanders wouldn’t trade Toews if he was going to make $2 million.

I don't see COL's offense having many problems against a Hedman-Schenn, McDonagh-Coburn, Borgman-Foote defense.

they lost all their depth this year, they're not the same team come next season. they have 2 mil in space and still haven't signed 3 players. TaMpA wOuLd DeStRoY

LOL .. who the heck is Borgman? .. add Sergachev .. these Colorado fans reading their own clippings .. make a conference final first newbies .. also your young offensive D are very good .. but years away from remotely stopping anybody like Tampas O ..

" who the heck is Borgman? "
Lol you're not even following your team, great.
You said " now " and Sergachev isn't under contract thus he isn't playing. Maybe if Sergachev wants to sign for $1.9M? tears of joy

That's great in the regular season, but I doubt they get it done in the playoffs. It's the exact same thing that happened with the Nordiques before they moved to Colorado and they traded for Patrick Roy. Roy put them over the top. If they get a more proven goalie, I think they'll definitely go all the way to the finals. It's the only missing piece in my view.
