The top 6 is pretty good, but I just don’t think the Jets can get past some of the other teams in the later rounds with that defense.

Perfetti is nowhere near NHL ready his skating sucks, He's probably 2-3 years away at the very least. He needs 2 years of Juniors and a year in the minors.

Great top 6. But their Dcorp is suspect.

To me, the answer is no.

If the two rookie LD are ready, why not?

And still cannot believe Perfetti fell to #10. Would not shock me to see him make team out of camp.

Needs a better blueline, and possibly a better 2c, in two years possibly, but needs wheeler and scheifele to stay on top of there games, or possibly starting again.

Not likely with that defense and nothing will ever change with this team until Lowry is permanently made the 4th line center or he's gone, as long as he's rolled out at 3C for 14+ minutes a game this team is going nowhere, don't care how improved the D is or who the 2C is without some secondary scoring from the bottom 6 they'll never take another step.

Will be interesting to see who's right about Perfetti in a year or two or more... Lol

When you think the game as elite as he does, skating matters quite a bit less. Look at John Tavares

Hey!

Well, I am no expert, but I played, watched and followed a lot of hockey. I cannot recall seeing a player who can slow the game down better than Perfetti. I am not at all concerned about the skating.

Exactly.

(also, how many guys are truly able to just burn past NHL defenders in neutral zone? )

Hey!

Not doubting your evaluation and I hope you're right as I cheer for the Jets, I honestly haven't seen much of Perfetti play.
