Voracek would be left exposed in expansion. They may take him, but most likely not. Under this scenario we wouldn't have anyone we'd truly be devastated to lose in the expansion draft even if it is Voracek, that opens up a ton of cap. 2021 draft isn't as good as a draft so not having early picks won't be that bad for Philly. Leaving us with early round picks in the 2022 draft, which looks to be a really good draft. Prospect pool got a little bit thinner, but mostly guys who are blocked by others in the system or on the roster. If Patrick can't give it a go this year, you use Laughton in that role and keep Raffl for the bottom line. 3C would be a hole at that point.
