I agree with Marincin. The Leafs thrust him into unrealistic roles for him to fill, but for what he is (ie. a guy who can fill in on the bottom pairing when needed), he's not bad. He just looks bad when half of the defence is hurt and they have him playing on the second pair with a defensive liability like Barrie or a 3rd pairing guy like Holl.

Idk why Barrie is here though. His offensive numbers look pretty but he's in terms of playing actual defence, he might be the worst defenceman we've had since Tavares signed.
