No team can take on a 10.5M winger regardless of who it is. There needs to be retention somehow.

Do you think $2.5M retained would be enough for most teams?

I think so, not sure what that would make the trade look like, but I think you've offered up some good assets.

Might take Bemstrom too or someone like that. I'd tag some Hawks and CBJ fans and see what they think.

I would probably be okay giving up that package, but maybe substitute Texier for Foudy.
If CBJ obtains Kane, they would have too many wingers...giving up Texier would be a better Fit and keeping Foudy, the true center, Plus Foudy is on two way contract so he could be kept in AHL to develop.

I don't think the trade happens unless Foudy is the piece heading back to Chicago. You're not going to get a top 10 NHL player without giving up your top prospect. CBJ could trade one of their excess wingers to another team.
