2 years of Ghost =/= poison, at worst it's meh

He drives play. He scores well. He's only 27.

Regressing from brilliant to good =/= useless

As a Flyers fan. Lol no. I'll gladly let them bench Ghost for 3 more seasons than take back Burns contract for 5 more.

This is logic that is largely unseen in this place. I’ve been saying that anyone who saw him skate after the knee clean out over the pause saw the explosiveness Ghost needs to be successful

Vancouver appreciates San Jose's willingness to take on our lousy Loui Eriksson contract, however we feel that Kane is on a downward trajectory in his career and at $7 million per year for 5 more years, isn't worth that gamble, especially if it costs us a first rounder. We may look at it if SJ agreed to retain money and take a 2nd rounder instead.

As well, we would need a written commitment from Kane to stay out of the Roxy when he lives here in Vancouver!!

I worries. I’d shoot myself for accepting ghost’s ugly contract for Burns because the last 2 years Might not be good. Burns will be a top 4 D man even at 40 much like rob Blake was

Where is this reasoning for a downward trajectory? He’s been very consistent the last 4 years and fairly healthy! Plus he is still under 30 and his contract expires at age 33 not 37. We don’t want to trade him he’s one our most valuable players.
