I think Hall signed one year in Buffalo so that he could play with Eichel. I don't see him being happy with Eric Staal

Staal is still a good player. Taylor and Jack both drive the play extremely well they don’t need to play with each other in my opinion.

I said this is how I would line them up. It's the name of the team.

They will play on the PP and likely will spend plenty of time together

That's fair yeah you were quite overt about that

The more I think about it yeah he just wanted a year to boost his numbers and wait for the economic tide to turn to get a 10x10 deal in a better situation

Though he could've gone to Colorado... so... it is quite possible I am overestimating his tact & intellect

i prefer Montour over Miller, I think he wasnt given a fair season last year always playing on his off side and yet still performed decently

He didnt perform decently.

Miller also had to sit in the press box because we were trying to trade bogosian. He didnt get a fair shake either and he ended up being a fine partner for dahlin

I think he said Krueger was the main reason he decided to sign in Buffalo, but read more below.

Absolutely, Hall is by far the second player on this team now.
Hall is more of a play maker than scorer. For example 61.3% of his pts are assists, in contrast Jack who is known playmaker only 59.3% of his points are assists.
With Hall on the same line with Skinner, we may see a resurgent Jeff.

I agree, but maybe he will like Buffalo.
Both Muckler and Bowman still live in Buffalo.
Harry Neal moved from Toronto to live in Buffalo, 4 houses away from my sons house.

No doubt about it.
Miller got more PP and less PK time than Miller, but with less prime ice time, Montour had a higher pts/min than Miller 1.2 v 1.0.
Montour had the best +/- among all skater and only Ristolainen had a higher TOI/gm and only Scandella had a higher PDO.
Montour played on his off wing over 61% of the time.
IDK how any one could make the case that he had a worse year than Miller, or that he played poorly.
Montour was top pairing defenseman the two year before Krueger ranking among top 60 NHL defensemen in both TOI and pts.

Well that would certainly give the Sabres stronger forwards.
That would mean he would be better than Thompson, Mittelstadt and Kahun which would be a very good thing.

@littlejerryseinfeld What 3-on-3 OT lines would you do?
