Hall Eichel Reinhart
Skinner Staal Cozens (he is starting on the wing)

A talent like Cozens is wasted on the 4th line.

Not with that defense. And it would be even harder if they & Boston end up in what is now the Metropolitan division.

Edit: Also Bishop isn’t waiving to go to Buffalo.

If the Sabres can get past the Lightning, Leafs, Habs, and Bruins, then yes

Why are the Bruins & Sabres switching divisions?

Don’t have to pass ANY of them to make the playoffs,
let alone ALL of them
They could finish 5th in the division & get the 2nd WC spot

But what else would i expect from another Leafs’ fan troll post

If the Canadian division is a thing (which is most likely the case), then there will need to be division realignment. Going by locations that are geographically close, one of the divisions would probably be:

1. BOS
2. WSH
3. PHI
4. PIT
5. NYI
6. NYR
7. BUF
8. NJD

They might make the playoffs, but if they switch up the divisions I think Buffalo might have a harder time

Ok. I’m just saying, 99% of players probably wouldn’t waive to go from a team where he makes a lot more money because of taxes that is coming off a season of making it to the Stanley Cup finals, rather than a team that missed the playoffs where he makes less money.

Sabres typically beat the leafs, even when the sabres are bad.

Just have to get by the lighting, habs and bruins. The Habs were marginally better than the sabres last year. If the sabres were able to play as many games as the habs, they could have finished with more points than the habs.

Finishing in the top 3 with the bruins and lightning is a sure fire way to make the playoffs. Not sure why they need to be better than all 4 of those teams to make the playoffs.
