I forget what website it was on, but they had the Suter-Weber pairing as one of the greatest of all time.

Are current UFA's not eligible in this game? I'd find room for Granlund and Wilson on this squad.

A shame Suter walked and then NSH ultimately traded Weber for Subban. Would've been fun to watch that pair as life-long Predators (though the contracts would hurt) -- they're both still playing at a high level even at 35.

I just didn't bother with unsigned players, but those would definitely be up here if/when they sign.

Suter, Klein, and Weber in the same draft in 2003 (in that order - just unreal defenseman drafting that year by NSH) + Josi, Ellis, Ekholm, Jones, Girard, Fabbro, and more.

I didn't add UFAs, but could add Granlund, Wilson, and Boyle to that team as well. NSH has historically drafted the center position poorly -- and in recent years, overpaid for center depth.

PK did a lot for the community and created a lot of new fans in NSH - and we got to the cup finals with that trade so there was some good that came out of it, but I do wish this team had ultimately kept Weber. Ekholm - Weber would be scary to play against.
