Chara resigns with Boston or retires. Also Islanders match anything under 10.5-11 million, not to mention they will make sure he doesn’t go to their rival.

Aside from that, Chicago doesnt make this deal because they still have to resign Dylan Strome and dont have a whole hell of a lot of cap space.

The Barzal offer sheets should just die, it isnt happening.

2022 picks are gold. We're not doing it for any year anyway this is so unrealistic.

I agree you wouldn't do this, but it makes no sense for wings either to change it for 2 years in the future

Well considering the rebuild timeline I guess not but it's a pretty creative way to turn a 2nd to a 1st out of thin air lol

No one is trading a future 1st for a 2nd now. This is a joke right?

How about Detroit giving up a 2nd in 2023 draft? Like you said 2022 picks are gold.?

2022 Picks are invaluable. That draft is going to be insane. 2003, 2015, 2018 type draft. Nobody in the right minds are trading those picks.

What do you mean move a 2021 2nd for 2023 2nd?
