Simon is very good in a top 6 role and will drive play, in the bottom 6 he disappears

I don't see the Flames moving Bennett back to the wing. He plays his best hockey at center, and they are better off continuing to develop him at that position, especially after signing a bunch more wingers recently. Dube and Leivo definitely deserve Top 9 minutes to start the season. For me, Leivo beats out Simon for that opportunity for now. Simon has great stats playing in the Top 6 in PIT, but let's not forget who the top 2 centers are in PIT...I'm not sure Simon was the guy "driving" the play in those roles.

Mangiapane - Monahan - Lindholm
Gaudreau - Bennett - Tkachuk --> I'd like to see Gaudreau and Tkachuk play together, especially if they can get 2nd D-pair matchups
Dube - Backlund - Leivo
Lucic - Ryan - Simon
