I feel like this list has too many kids that are not proven enough, but yeah they probably are going to be the best soon (I'd say there are a few missing including Slavin, Werenski, Jones, etc)

Dmen are hard to rate because its not just stats like you can do with forwards and goalies.

Dougie Hamilton was one of the best dman this year up till he got injured. He was elite at driving play and creating quality chances. If it wasn’t for his injury I would have probably said he was the best d man in the league this season. Personally I would have him top 5 but that’s just my opinion.

I'm going by body of work, Hamilton was amazing this year but I never really viewed him that high prior
