no way. He has 1 Conn Smythe but besides that hasnt been nearly good enough for the HOF in my opinion. Good player and good career but if he gets into the HOF then they need to increase their standards

I've had this debate so many times, and I just can't convince myself not to put him there. Over 1200 games, 300 goals, nearly 800 points, and he was otherworldly in the playoffs. I think he's probably a fringe case, but I think the legend of Justin Williams the playoff performer gets him in. 3 cups, 160 games, 100 points, and a Conn Smythe.

He's probably going to wait around for a long time, but he should be in the HOF in my opinion.

So Heatley is getting in too right? Cuz he had almost 800 points in like 850 games and Spezza has 940 in 1150ish and Parise has 792 in 1015 games and Cheechoo has a rocket Richard, and Theodore has a hart, and Gomez has almost 800 in under 1200 games.

see where I'm going?

Seabrook has three cups. Kunitz has 4 cups and was actually a top 10 art ross finalist.

What about Lecavalier?

Oh and Tim Thomas has two vezinas, a smythe, and a cup

Also Danny Briere and Logan Couture have good resumes and definitely better playoff performers

No, if u take away the fact he was clutch af he’s j a very solid top 6 forward throughout his career. No doubt he had a great career but not HOF worthy

Off rip I say no

I’d say hall of farmers have to be consistently MVP like players or at points be among the top players in the league at their position or the top player.

I’d never say Justin Williams wasn’t good but I also would never select him over the likes of those around the league during his career if I had to pick a single player each of his seasons in his career

What about Eric Staal, Rick Nash, Jeff Carter, Mike Richards, Simon Gagne, Gaborik, Koivu, Gionta, Claude Lemieux (he has a smythe), Turgeon, Mogilny, Tkachuk, Naslund, Hejduk, Bertuzzi, Prospal, Satan, Sharp, B. Richards, Tanguay, Voracek

Mogilny should be as a builder if nothing else.

I say no because he never got 800 points (he had 797 lol), but I could see it because he did get a Conn Smythe and 3 Stanley Cups

I genuinely think he was a good player but HHOF is overrating him.

Like Benn and Seguin aren't even hhof locks.

If he gets in, it'll be hard to keep 70% of the players I just listed out.

Next thing we know, Kris Draper will be getting inducted

If Patrik Elias and Alexander Mogilny are not Hall-of-Famers...hard to imagine Williams gets in.

I'm sure a bunch of those guys will end up in the HOF? I think fans hold the HOF to a way higher standard than is actually there. It isn't just the Crosbys and McDavids who make it in.

Literally none of those players is making the hhof besides the two that should be in Mogilny and Turgeon.

It's not that it's holding it to such high standards, it's that Williams was never close to that standard. Like at least Heatley, Cheechoo, Spezza, Lecavalier, Staal, etc were elite NHL Players for a period of time.

He probably shouldn’t, but I would not be surprised if “Mr. Game 7” makes it in
