Really can't see Winnipeg trading for Risto, especially for that much. If Adams is lucky enough to ttade him then he's taking salary back or there will be retention

It would be cheaper for next year if they just shove Okposo in the minors and handle the "buried" cap hit. Plus there's always the chance that sending him to Rochester will lead to him not reporting and we can terminate alla Bogosian... That's our best case scenario in my opinion

The PK will actually be worse than last year and that’s tough to do.

The Jets are almost capped out, the Sabres would have to take back salary or the Jets would have to dump cap elsewhere which likely means paying some team to take Perreault which costs at least another pick so when you factor that in a Ristolainen to Winnipeg trade doesn't seem likely at this point.
