Not a bad deal. If he can be a starter then Buf can make the playoffs. If not, you don’t need to re sign him.

Not bad, not great. If Buffalo has a one year run (like EDM when they had their playoff run, and then haven’t repeated since) this could come back to haunt them if it causes overpayments. If the season is shortened and the players do well/ the EDM example they could cause future problems asking for their due

Probably. But I gotta think he's just setting himself up to make some decently large moves.

Korp signs 2 years 2.8 mill

Ullmark 2.6 mill 1 year.

Literally 2.6 mill for 2 is where they should have went

If we lose Ullmark to UFA.... This one is a no-no. UPL is going to PAIR well with Ullmark. We can't ruin him like Ullmark by throwing him straight in a starter role.

Buffalo is either setup for huge success OR huge failure.

Doesnt seem like Adam's will be lasting long as GM.

Smart move again because they are not putting themselves in a Bad Cap situation with longterm bad contracts. They did not overpay but they gave him a prove it contract. Yes, they have lots of one year deals but until they get rid of some poor contracts this is a smart way to go.

It’s more from a managerial standpoint. Adams is going to have his work cut out for him next year. As Ullmark walks to FA. And arbitration with reinhart is going to be a headache.

If Buffalo has no faith in him (whick looks like it, walking him straight into UFA) why not try to adress the goalie issue earlier this offseason? There were plenty to go after. Or even trade for Korpisalo or Georgiev or whoever. Eichel ia going to lose his s*it when they dont qualify for playoffs one more year and trade Hall in later window.
