Description

Have fun playing these guys. Tough, mean, hard to play against, and skill to go with it.

Cap compliant. No ELC's. Had to include the late Ray Emery as a goalie, how could I not.

How far would they go? Which tough guys should I have included and subbed for who?

I feel like they would win the cup.

My only hesitation is Holtby and the Defense but I feel like that offense would be ridiculous.

Is Marchand actually tough though? I don't know that many tough guys that choose to lick their opponents instead of fighting them...

tough, dirty, hard to play against, same difference. He's one of the most hated guys to play against that's for sure. A rat and skilled as anyone.

Evander Kane is tougher than Marchand. Marchand is a pest who would be clobbered by Kane in a fight. Just ask Matt Cooke

Deslauriers should be an honorable mention. Guys one of the best fighters in the league imo.

Fair. I don't see him as tough - but can agree on the rat part.

A perennial 30 goal guy who hits, skates like the wind and stands up for his teammates...Marchand is a turtle pure and simple, he talks tough, he’d get pummeled nightly if he actually backed up his big mouth lol. Kanes two way game is better than Marchand, he backs up his talk and puts up points. His pay is fair for what he does

Look I never said Kane wasn't tough. I never said Kane wouldn't beat Marchand in a fight. And I never said Kane was a bad player. But Marchand is a more effective player IMO. Scores more, causes more "ruckus" with the other team, and gets people off their game better than anyone. It's my team, I want a 6 million Marchand, I don't want a 7 million Kane, you make your team and sub them, I wouldn't. Agree to disagree.
