"Their lack of elite prospects has other plans" then proceeds to trade away a 1st Round Pick...makes sense. Dallas isn't trading a 1st Round Pick for Jakob Silfverberg.

If you're looking at it from a cap perspective, Dallas doesn't need to move Comeau or Cogliano. Once Johns & Seguin hit LTIR, Dallas will have plenty of cap space.
