Honestly, you won't get a better RW than Eberle in a trade. He's a good player just keep him.

But one player maybe I could see is Skinner from Carolina but he seems to be hitting a groove and Carolina is probably not inclined to move him

He's too inconsistent and is playing with f***ing mcdavid. He doesn't try or play defense. If he doesn't have the puck he's useless. Yes he's exciting when he's on his game but just to streaky and soft for my liking. Would honestly trade him for a lesser right winger and a right wing prospect. I think they should depth up on the right side. Need a pure goal scorer with McDavid.

It's getting late in the Eastern Time Zone so I would have to think hard about this. Trouble is, "contending teams would have great trouble taking on Eberle 6m a year deal (I think he's overpaid too). cap wise. Non contending teams even if they cap room, why trade a good piece back to Edmonton when they can likely make better deals with teams who want to get rid of cap players? (of course not Eberle's value)
Next summer maybe the Sharks might want to replenish if they lose Thornton and Marleau, Maybe Carolina but it would be for a lesser Dman...not Faulk. Maybe New Jersey but don't expect much in return just cap space.

Eberele is a swift skating, at at times a good goal scorer at 6m. Good game tonight in Buffalo, Leafs win 2-1, a swift skating, potential good goal scorer Mitch Marner scored both goals and makes about 925,000. So that's the other deal breaker. Not to many wingers make 6m and there are guys out there just as good making 2m. I just don't see the Oilers getting a player back as good as Eberle back in a trade. Eberle's contract deflates his trade value.

More bold moves biting us in the ass. I'd be happier with depth at the wing like two neiddereiter and pa parenteau than a single Eberle. Both play hard and you can move them up and down the line up. IMHO

Eb's is in the group of good, but not great wings. Good for 25g a year but doubtful for 30g+. I expected a big year from him this year. He's probably worth more to the Oilers this year than any other team (that can afford his cap hit).

Boost his stats then trade him in the offseason. Oilers look like a Playoff contender so far this year, so don't trade him unless they fall off a cliff before the TDL.

Does Eberle and his 6m contract fit into Montreal's cap this year and in the future. I doubt , money has to be going back to the Oilers.

You are most likely right. I don't see anything on the Habs roster that would make realistic trade, not good trading partners at this time.

What about Ebs and a 2018 first for dumba Nino neiddereiter and haula?

Wild say no, hang up the phone. Call Oilers back just to say no again.
