He's a risk for every team trading for him, but he's also a risk that could pay off. He's arguably our best prospect right now (yes, better than Romanov, maybe slightly behind Caufield), and we shouldn't trade him either. Teams don't pay significants assets for prospects alone anyway.

Not getting moved. Like @SevenLeg said, no one is going to create a package for a prospect, and there’s not any NHL player that it would make sense for both teams to make the trade. The habs will just keep Mattias, and see what he can do.

Can't wait to see that guy in action. Hopefully Julien isn't the coach by then...😂

This guy is great. It should be fine with Claude though, since Norlinder’s no slouch in the defensive zone either.

LESS? Come on dude. He'd be our #4 D prospect. Behind Miller, Lundkvist, Schneider.

Andersson was traded because he was a misfit (too early to say bust) in NYR. We're not trading our best prospect for a 2nd just for fun

I don't blame you though, he's not well-known outside of Montreal's fanbase. A lot of Habs fan would argue that he's a better prospect than Romanov. He's even drawing Nicklas Lidstrom comparisons in Sweden medias lol.

Practically untouchable. Norlinder is the Habs golden ticket on defense with Romanov.
