Lol. I agree 100%. They arnt getting rid of Johnson with a 1st round pick as a sweetener and 100% of the contract. It’s gonna be a late round anyways. It’s not crazy valuable to begin with. And They tried giving him away for free and no one wanted the 100% contract. I think they have to retain atleast 1M. It’s a flat cap year. Maybe NYR might for a 1st. Or Detroit, But Detroit still has some RFA to sign.

Sergachev won't get that much on a 3 years deal. No way. That's close to what Point got after a 92 points season.

Ever hear of COVID and Flat revenue cap? .. all #s will be MUCH smaller for next 2 to 3 years as we have seen already this free agent year.. down 20+% .. so you can NOT compare to previous years.. if no/limited fans and season .. several NHL teams in financial trouble
