What would make Panik available

Description
Panik finished last year with 20 EVP in 36 games. That's a 45 point pace. He's playing the best hockey of his career, slightly better than when he played 2nd line in Chicago.

But if WSH can magically sign two or three good UFAs to flat-cap contracts, they could give Panik away to a team that needs wings, and end up pretty stacked for this year. Obviously all three contracts are unrealistically team-friendly, but if all three guys think Lundqvist is going to carry the Caps to the title either way, and they want to be a part of it, then WSH should bring them along, because their skill would help the Caps score more goals. Not that they need that, but why not?

Very team friendly, but I would happily enjoy watching this team

How come you always drop Vrana down to the third line? Are you trying to reduce his value so we get him for cheaper?

Galchenyuk has a 30 goal year. So does Athanasiou. You could penalize them for being horrible defensively, or put them and Kuznetsov in when the team needs a goal, and has the puck in the zone, and you'd get a lot of goals. This team easily has two good power play units. Eller, Hathaway, Hagelin, and Dowd are all decent on PK. I think Galchenyuk and Athanasiou replace the secondary scoring ability of Burakovsky and Connolly, but you're not going to sign them by telling them they get to play on a checking line. They've tried that. It doesn't work out for them.
