I know there are some prospect experts and even more hardcore fans, so I'll ask you all this:
Who were the biggest steals of the 2020 Draft

My picks:

Yegor Chinakhov, CBJ
Brock Faber, LA
Jan Mysak, MTL
Joel Blomqvist, PIT
Jean-Luc Foudy, COL
Sean Farrell, MTL
Jeremie Poirier, CGY

There's a reason why Perfetti fell to 10th overall. Same reason Caufield fell to MTL at #15 in '19: Size. Smaller players tend to struggle in the postseason. Obviously, there are exceptions like Marty St. Louis, of course. But, playoff hockey requires size and physicality as much, if not more, than skill. Look at Johnny Gaudreau's playoff numbers. That's why I believe Quinn went ahead of Perfetti and Rossi.

Look at Brayden Point’s playoff numbers though

Rossi and Perfetti will be steals at 9 and 10. I think Zary will be a great value pick at 24 for Calgary, and Vegas getting Brisson at 29 also has a lot of benefit. Outside of the first round, I see Gunler, Mysak, Faber, Pashin, Nybeck, and just about everything Toronto did as being legitimate steals

I'd go with O'Rourke for MN, not Rossi (I think he's going to be a complete letdown from all the hype he's gotten).

Stutzte was the steal of the draft at #3 Overall, lol. I would take him over Lafreniere and Byfield all day.

Too early to tell, it’s only been half a season, Byfield hasn’t even played an NHL game I think so I’d wait a bit before deciding

Well that's entirely based on this season's performance so you can't say that yet

Bordeleau and Ozzy look great
Stutzle is decent, but Laffy and Byfield need to simmer and develop first

Based on what I've seen this season. Who knows who the best player from the 2020 Draft will be? Might be someone not even in the top 10.

What I'm saying is, that as of right now, Stutzle has been the best player from the 2020 Draft and it's not close. I have no idea if he'll be the best player in 10 years, obviously. But right now, I take him all day.

Hirvonen and Neimala... ok that's probably just my leafs bias. But they have looked good.

Carter Savoie and Ty Tullio making it to the 4th and 5th rounds is embarrassing for the league as a whole: most every projection had them in the 3rd round. Glad the Oilers could capitalize.

and the funny thing is that the Oilers traded down to get them both.
