Why don't the Isles just trade him? It's a lose-lose all around for him to stay in the organization. Wherever he ends up though he will probably be a really good impact player.
I know, that's why I hope this year he gets claimed. He can play in the NHL as long as he has no attitude/off-ice problems.
I don’t think he has an attitude, he’s just honest. Trotz chose kuhnhackl and Ross johnston over him after he had a great camp. What more does he have to do to get a fair shot? Unfortunately he’ll probably clear waivers.

He’s made a few comments implying that he deserves to play in the nhl , I don’t see anything wrong with that
He had the best defensive metrics on the team during the 18-19 season (10 game sample size) - I’m really not sure why he was sent down.
