Description

I think carolina is one or two pieces short from being a real contender for the cup. I think they could use a top 6 forward or an elite starting goalie. I would consider moving nino, dzingel, gardiner, and one of reimer/mrazek. Also the 2 signings are not realistic and I just gave them the minimum to see what the roster looks like with the rfas on it.

Fleury and foegele both get more than that. Otherwise I totally agree that the canes are 2 pieces away. I think nino can bounce back and he is great analytically. With that said I’m pretty much ok to trade anyone you listed. My first addition would probably be a 2nd line lw

Yeah that was my guess. Really would love to see the canes move some cap and give Hoffman a short term deal

I believe they did but I don’t think they were willing to give him the term. It would also have meant the canes would have to cap dump someone, which they still may need to don
