I think players have a hero envy when they have they agents deal with Sakic? How else does he convince them to sign cheaper than market value ?

You know Sakic, is doing some smart planning with the cap and cashflow Gotta love the fact, he is paying low upfront and high in the end, unlike those deals where 90% is paid upfront.

It's not for cashflow. Players are losing up to 30% of their income this year potentially next to deferral and escrow. They want the big money later

I wonder when that will come for them - maybe 24/25 season or will it be sooner I assume the owners will say oh we need time to recoup the loses

So escrow is balanced every year I think.

But the deferred I have no idea. We're the details in the agreement they made in June or was it vague?
