Detroit? That would seem like a bold strategy to handcuff themselves for a couple of years (Again, without getting assets to do it). New Jersey? Again, no thanks. Anyone else?

There are so many teams that would love to dump a bad contract or two, and everyone knows that you've gotta pay for it. Pretty simple.

I'm not changing teams and having to rewrite everything I put in the notes, I'm also not convinced that Ottawa won't be in a similar position to where they are this offseason with the cap as they currently have 37 million in cap space for 2021-22.

This is a pretty good looking roster. I think the only weakness is backup goalie but that can be addressed via trade or free agency. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Samuelsson playing in the NHL too, maybe not full time but I think he could get a good look
