Description
Show me the 3rd line

Bellows-Pageau-Dal Colle

I said the real 3rd line

Perfection

All jokes aside, this line would be ridiculously talented. So much speed, great playmaking and two guys who can finish.

I doubt Ho-Sang touches the Islanders roster this year.

Trotz would never put that much skill on the 3rd line. He needs at least 1 useless grinder

Trotz already has his mind made up on ho-sang. Even if ho-sang has a great camp he won’t make the team

    Sadly you're right.

However, I dare Trotz to come to my house and physically stop me from raising Ho-Sang’s stats and potential and making this exact 3rd line.

Lol i will not get my hopes up. I’ve come to terms that he’ll never play for the isles.

I just wish we didn’t qualify him - let him sign with another team.

I’m not sure another team would give him a chance. It might be that Lou knows he was mismanaged and wants to at least give him a chance, but other organizations likely see him as a man child with an attitude problem.

If ho-sang was allowed to sign with another team, I have no doubt someone would give him a 2 way deal and call him up if he plays well in the AHL.

The isles don’t reward accomplishment with advancement. Another team would. Ho-sang situation is unique, but we have prospects that “haven’t made the jump” because the isles love to bury their prospects in the minors.

as cool of a line that would be, I can't see trotz allowing that much non-exesistent NHL talent to be on the same line.

Correct, Thompson is bad at his job and as great of a coach as Trotz is, he and Thompson are the worst possible NHL/AHL coaching combo one could imagine from a prospect development perspective.

For sure - you have to have high end talent to break through , which is why wahlstrom, Dobson , Aho, and ho-sang will be able to overcome bad coaching.

They really hurt guys like bellows, dal colle, Holmstrom etc...players who need to be able to take risks to develop their offensive game.

Can’t wait till Aho gets a shot and trotz gets all the credit for making him look good!

That's the spirit! So many preds fans like myself died an honourable death from doing similar things back in the day. Glad to take on the cause for J H S

Love it, love it, love it. Would Wahlstrom be more comfortable at off wing as it'd allow him to reside in the slot mostly with JHS controlling play? Hm.

Not that Josh isn't capable of playing more free form

    Either way fun times 👍

JHS himself has said he doesn’t care which forward spot he plays and as of this moment, Josh Ho-Sang has more NHL experience than Wahlstrom so I’d presume he’d take the offwing positioning better.
