Too much from NYI. I would do:

Boychuk, Bellows, 1st, 2nd for Jarnkrok.

This honestly isn't a bad deal for NSH either way. They have no big contracts coming up next season (Saros and Fabbro should both get below $4m) and the NYI contracts would expire prior to resigning Forsberg, Ekholm, etc. Get some nice picks out of it a potential top/middle 6 winger in Wahlstrom.

lol why not -- so basically it'd be Subban + Wahlstrom + 1st + 2nd + 2nd for Jarnkrok.

Yeah! That's the spirit. I'm biased towards him but I really do feel it was a year from hell from PK too. Meh situation too. PP2 QB with Tolvanen to return etc.

Is your username a reference to Villle Koistinen?

One of my favourite Preds in my 16 years rooting for the franchise, I left the Leafs when MLSE went crazy

Honestly either this or the proposed one aren't bad at all for Nashville. We have the capspace and the 1st + Bellows/Wahstrom would help retool. I don't think Poile would do it but i think it'd help the team long term. The one you proposed would still allow Nashville to make another capdump addition to help another team in need of capspace as well.

Yeah, I just thought it was too much from NYI in that we're not moving Wahlstrom and it was too many high picks. I thought my proposal was more simplified. I like it for both teams. Boychuk gets to play on a competitive team for the last two years of his career, Preds get a good goal scoring prospect, and two high picks. Isles get a forward on a cheap contract that can help now and fit perfectly on the third line.

Yeah the point here is cap space, and I don't know how much NYI needs, really. I figured Nash might as well take on Clutterbuck, but if it's not needed then the price goes down I'd assume.

We need all the cap space we can get, to be honest. With the rumors of Martin coming back, looks like they want to reunite the fourth line for one more year, so doubtful Clutterbuck is moved. If you want to take Hickey or Komarov that'd be great, but I'd like to avoid adding more assets to move cap than a prospect, 1st, and 2nd.
